A Targeted Update is a specific web crawl we run on your behalf. You can set the domain and URLs crawled. Data from the crawl will get updated in our database as soon as it's available. Targeted Update crawls are limited to 1 million URLs per update.
We are constantly adding new websites as sources for our data. However, the Internet is vast, so we don't crawl every website. If you need to include a specific website in our data, you can request a "website buildout" for a nominal fee. Our team will build a web scraper for that website and start importing its data into Datafiniti. A website buildout typically takes 10 business days before initial data is available. The time to import all available data from a website will depend on how many URLs we have to crawl to cover the entire website.
Each plan level comes with a certain number of "reserved" records. You can use these records without any additional cost. However, if you need to go over that number, you can do so without having to upgrade your plan by paying a slightly higher per-record cost.
We will assign a member of our Customer Success to your account. You can email this person directly to request help with Datafiniti. You can also set up regular phone calls to serve as check-ins. The Customer Success manager will assist you with crafting Datafiniti queries, relay technical questions to our developers, and provide updates on relevant changes to our services.
